What is 1LIFE?

1LIFE  is a weekend spiritual retreat intentionally designed for high school students from around the Midwest (GA, TN, KS, IN, IL, MI, OH, and more) to start their school year focused on Jesus and their personal walk with Him.

History.

1LIFE began August, 2011 in Southern California. This annual retreat continues to bless hundreds of students taking place at Camp Cedar Falls, CA.

But God is on the move! Since 2017, the ONE LIFE retreat has spread to the Midwest. In 2017 the first ever 1LIFE Midwest retreat took place in Southwest Ohio where approximately 60 high school students (private school, homeschool, public school) gathered from two different states. God showed up in powerful ways as students gave their hearts to Jesus and moved forward in their relationship with Him.

Then 2018, 1LIFE’s second year in the Midwest. Approximately 120 high school students gathered at Camp Kern from four different states. Again, through powerful and practical preaching, teaching, discussions, small groups, leadership training breakouts, and activities God showed up in palpable ways. God’s power and love was experienced serving as a catalyst for personal growth and transformation.

In 2019 we had a group of approximately 300 high school students (private school, homeschool, public school) gathered at Camp Cedarmore (Kentucky) from eight different states. God’s on the move! We’re super excited about this year’s speakers, featured artists, worship band, leadership breakouts, and amazing new camp venue as we’ll focus our faith on Jesus on September 4-6, 2020.

According to Ephesians 2:10 Paul says we are God’s masterpiece. We’ve been created by the Creator to create. Jesus is still creating. We’re confident hundreds of students from several different communities will powerfully experience God’s power, love, and generosity as we wrestle with the following questions:

1) What is God doing (creating) in our lives?

2) How are they called to create (serve, minister, love, etc.) in our schools, churches, and communities.

Hope to see you there.
